One benefit of Google’s push for third-party licensees is that Stadia has accumulated a nice-sized library of free game trials that you can play without an account. They’re not very long — they range from 30 minutes to 2 hours — but they include higher-profile titles like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6. What makes it stand out is the large number of kid-friendly titles and its relatively granular parental controls for managing what they can or can’t play. It’s also joined at the hip with Prime Gaming, so you get the time-limited freebies and perks, plus integrated broadcasting via Twitch. Since it comes with a Prime subscription, if you’re already a member you really don’t lose anything. If you are a Prime member, you can even play a selection of games without a Luna+ membership, but they take longer to load.

Provided a stable internet connection, one will be able to experience any game title on nearly any screen. NVIDIA GeForce NOW has finally launched a new tier of service called GeForce NOW Ultra, which focuses on PC gaming enthusiasts. With a price tag of $24.99 per month, it supports ray tracing and DLSS for games in the compatible list. Customers will also get priority access to NVIDIA’s most powerful cloud gaming rigs.

On Xbox, the price for a 1-year subscription to AntStream Arcade is $30, while a lifetime subscription is $80. However, on Epic Games, the Windows and Mac version is $51 for a 1-year subscription. In terms of exact compatibility, Shadow PC is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Raspberry Pi computers. Mobile users owning iOS and Android smartphones and tablets also have complete use of Shadow PC. Furthermore, tvOS and Android TV are supported—as are Meta Quest VR systems.
